Uniform Booklet

In 2018, we launched a new uniform for City Year corps members and staff. This was a big change for a program that had pretty much kept the same look for thirty years. To properly roll it out, I designed a booklet about the meaning and changes to the uniform. I wanted the book to resemble a field guide so I went with a smaller size and kraft cover.

I also designed a new t-shirt program for our accepted corps members. We send out a city-specific tee to corps members when they accept the offer to serve. We often lose corps members over the summer before their service starts. With this t-shirt program, accepted corps members have been more excited and connected to their City Year site helping to reduce the “summer melt.”
